Dog Training Geelong
If you're like me then you know how important it is to have a dog that isn't an embarrassment to myself or my family! When our dog, Baxter, left another of his steaming deposits on our 100% wool carpet I knew that it was probably time to get someone in to teach him a little social etiquette.
I needed Dog Training and I needed it FAST!
I called a few of the Dog Trainers advertised, but boy! I think we would have to re-mortgage the house for Baxter to pass his Canine Exam. Seriously, I just wanted him to stop making deposits in our home..not learn how to write his name in crayon.
These trainers seemed too much of a time commitment and too expensive and let's face it,between work and ferrying the kids to their after school activities , I just didn't have the time to build a schedule for the dog and his etiquette class.
There HAD to be a better way. I didn't want to change the world, but I needed Baxter to change his.
So...I figured there had to be others just like me who were desperate for some no nonsense dog training in Geelong. And thats when I decided that if it was going to work, it had to work on my terms...I was going to teach this old dog a new trick - oh and Baxter would pick up a couple of tips as well :)
I worked out the best method to teach our dog and to make sure that we as a family were taught also. It was WAY cheaper than some $300 6 week course that a trainer was coming out to do with him, and the beauty of it all was that if I wasn't happy I could get my money back.
So. How is Baxter and his regular deposits now? You have no idea how happy I am to say he is CURED.
Interesting to know also that with the Dog Training, we have managed to teach him some other more socially acceptable behaviours as well - like not not barking like a mad man every time the Harvey Norman ad comes on!
So, from one Geelong dog owner to another - my advice is don't fork out hundreds for something that you can do in and around your own home and time frames.
